PORTLAND — U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree is looking a disabled military veteran to fill a role in her Portland office.
Pingree is participating in the Congressional Wounded Warrior Program for veterans who have served since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and have a minimum 30 percent service-connected disability.
The position is a paid, full-time, two-year fellowship. The veteran will be responsible for constituent services and outreach to the veteran community.
Interested veterans should visit www.cao.house.gov for more information. Submit resumes, the latest copy of DD214, and a letter from the Veterans Administration indicating a 30 percent or greater rating (not necessary if medically retired) to housewoundedwarriors@mail.house.gov.
