Teresa Pierce was one of the first people I met when I moved to Falmouth and was searching for information about what the state was working on. She impressed me with her clear knowledge of not only the needs and wants of the residents of Falmouth, but also how this could and should balance with the needs of all Mainers. I was impressed by her many successful initiatives, including her focus on health care. Teresa worked to safeguard us against arsenic in well water, to ban cancer- and birth defect-causing chemicals in upholstery, to fund evidence-based treatment centers for opioid addiction and to ensure towns get a portion of the cannabis tax revenue to help with education, youth prevention efforts and law enforcement training. I encourage all voters in District 44 to re-elect Teresa Pierce to the state Legislature.
