As several Falmouth citizens have already written, Teresa Pierce, D-Falmouth, is a proven advocate for Falmouth by representing House District 44 in Augusta. She deserves to be re-elected. Please join me in voting for Teresa on Nov. 6.
Teresa demonstrated her thoughtful, thorough approach to issues when she served two terms on the Falmouth Town Council (twice elected as chair) and then two terms in the Legislature. She proved she understands and represents our values as well as our concerns and challenges. She proved she’s committed to quality public education, but appreciates that a balance must be struck between state spending and local property taxes. She’s been a strong supporter of open space in Falmouth. At the state level, she strongly supports Land for Maine’s Future and protecting Maine’s environment.
For these reasons and more, we need Teresa to stay in Augusta.
