The rain-swollen Royal River provided a whitewater challenge for Yarmouth kayaker Ray Corson on Sunday, Sept. 15, near the East Main Street bridge.
The river briefly gets the upper hand …
… but Corson begins an Eskimo roll …
… and after a little time upside down …
… pops up out of the water …
… before continuing downstream.
