AUGUSTA — The Maine Commission for Community Service is holding a “Volunteers in Action” photo contest to celebrate volunteerism in the state. The commission is looking for photographs that depict volunteers serving the community.
Winning entries and honorable mentions will be displayed at the State House during the governor’s Volunteer Service Awards on April 22.
Deadlines for submissions is March 17. Contest rules and information are on the commission’s Web site.
