Midcoast woman publishes inspirational memoir

Linda Sprague Pappas of West Bath has just published her first book, “The Perfect Child for Us.” In 2011 her grandson Caden was born with a rare genetic muscular disorder caused by a mutation of the RYR-1 gene. In this memoir she describes the days, weeks and months following this devastating diagnosis. Regardless of the outcome, the family commits to facing Caden’s uncertain future with faith, hope, love and courage and firmly believe that Caden is “the perfect child for us.”

Pappas is a former high school English teacher who enjoys playing the dulcimer and practicing yoga. “The Perfect Child for Us” is available at Amazon as both a paperback and a Kindle eBook and locally at The Mustard Seed Bookstore.
