New Hires, Promotions and Appointments

Portland resident Kim Anania was elected to the Friends of Casco Bay/Casco Baykeeper Board of Directors. She founded KMA Consulting in 2007 to offer businesses advice and support in human resources management and organizational development. Anania has contributed to various boards and committees in the Portland community, most recently volunteering for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Children’s Museum and Theater of Maine, Ruth’s Reusable Resources and the Maine Women’s Fund.

Bernstein Shur announced the election of Shana Cook Mueller, Edward Sackman, Philip R. Saucier and Hawley R. Strait as shareholders.

New Openings

Kate Cole Fallon announced the opening of her new counseling business, Ageless Journeys, at 550 Forest Ave. in Portland. Fallon offers expertise in stress management, grief and loss, career counseling, caregiving issues and the demands of dementia on families.

Integra Strategic Technologies Consulting, of Portland, and VONT, of Westbrook, announced that the two companies have combined to create a premier web development and digital marketing agency. Integra, a pioneering web development company with a special expertise in creating e-commerce websites and custom web software, relocated its offices to VONT’s Westbrook location at the start of the year.

Recognition

Hurley Travel Experts has been recognized for its outstanding achievement at the annual Sandals Star Awards, receiving the “Northeast Regional Highest Group Sales Award” as well as the “Best of the Best” in travel agencies, an award given to agencies making 50 travel bookings or more in one year with Sandals or Beaches Resorts.
