BRUNSWICK — Pauline S. Thelen, 87, of Baribeau Drive, died Aug. 24 at Mid Coast Senior Health Center.
Thelen was born July 25, 1928, in Brunswick, the daughter of Joachin and Marie Plourde Cloutier. Pauline attended Brunswick schools.
On Nov. 30, 1963, she married Frank Thelen III at St. John the Baptist Church. Over the following years, she traveled extensively with him during his career as a U.S. Navy commander. He died July 13, 2011.
Pauline was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, and was a cat lover.
She is survived by a son, James Thelen, of Pownal, his fiancee, Kasie, and her daughter, Faith; and a niece, Frances Lucas, of Brunswick.
A Mass of Christian burial was scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 3, at 10 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Church, 39 Pleasant St., Brunswick. Burial will follow at Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
Memorial donations may be made to the Coastal Humane Society, 190 Pleasant St., Brunswick, ME 04011.
