TOPSHAM — Paulette E. Cram, 66, of Westwind Drive, died Aug. 17 at Mid Coast Senior Health Center in Brunswick, with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Cram was born May 6, 1948, the daughter of Albert and Jeanne Michaud Levesque. A 1967 graduate of Wells High School, she attended the Shepard-Gill School of Practical Nursing in Boston, where she earned her nursing degree in 1969.

On Dec. 20, 1969, she married George E. Cram, of Bath.

She worked as nurse for private practices for many years. She went on to serve as a nurse at Mid Coast Medical Group in Bath for the 12 years prior to her retirement in 2010.

Cram loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandsons. She had a passion for cats, quilting and knitting. Together, she and her husband enjoyed bicycling, traveling and playing cribbage.

She was predeceased by her sister, Georgette Bolduc, of South Portland.

Cram is survived by her husband, George; son, Marc Cram and wife, Andrea, of Bowdoin; daughter, Michelle Bickford and husband, David, of North Yarmouth; and four grandsons, Andrew, Sean, Matthew and Hunter. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother.

A memorial service was held Aug. 22 at Stetson’s Funeral Home, in Brunswick, with the Rev. Frank Murray officiating. A private interment will take place in the Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, in Augusta, at a later date.
