TOPSHAM — Paul A. Dube, 70, of Foreside Road, died Dec. 27 at Freeport Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Brunswick on Feb. 22, 1942, the son of Joseph Dube and Delia Labbe. Dube attended primary school at St. John’s and graduated from Brunswick High School. He then served in the U.S. Army and married Jacqueline Berube, of Lewiston, in May 1964.

Dube later worked as a journeyman with Robbins Electric and as a construction supervisor with Imperial Homes. He went on to start his own business, Baxter & Dube, with partner Bill Baxter.

He enjoyed camping with family and friends, snowmobiling and spending time with his dogs. And he truly loved his work.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Dube, of Topsham; a son, Mark Dube, of Brunswick; two daughters, Amy Thibeault, of Bowdoin, and Julie Macdonald, of Lincoln, Vt.; three grandchildren, Ashley Haskell, Benjamin Macdonald and Skylar Macdonald, of Vermont; three brothers, Joseph and his wife, Claudette Dube, David and his wife, Lillian Dube, and Raymond and his wife, Suzanne Dube; a brother-in-law, Robert, and his wife, Joanne Berube; and 10 nieces and nephews.

A funeral was held Jan. 3 at St. Charles Borromeo Church-All Saints Parish in Brunswick. Spring interment will be in Bay View Cemetery, Bowdoinham.
