BRUNSWICK — Patrick Arthur Rideout, 26, died unexpectedly Dec. 6 at his home.
Born in Brunswick on April 27, 1983, he was a son of Arthur and Patricia Oravetz Rideout.
He grew up in Brunswick and graduated from Brunswick High School in 2001.
After attending Southern New Hampshire University in Brunswick, he worked as an electrician for Bath Iron works for the last 6 years.
His many hobbies included playing basketball and pool with friends, traveling and listening to music. Above all, he loved spending time with his daughter, Hailey. She was the apple of his eye and they enjoyed watching movies together and going to the beach.
He will be missed by all who loved him.
He was predeceased by an uncle, Emery Rideout, in 2001.
Surviving are his daughter, Hailey of Bath; his parents, Arthur and Patricia Rideout of Brunswick; two brothers, Brian Andrews and Justin Rideout of Brunswick; numerous aunts and uncles; several cousins; and many friends.
Visiting hours are scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 10 from 4-6 p.m. at the David E. Desmond & Son Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath, followed by a 6 p.m. funeral service. A reception will follow at the American Legion Smith Tobey Post 21, 10 Congress Ave., Bath.
