PORTLAND — Park Avenue will be closed between Deering Avenue and St. John Street from 3-8 p.m. Thursday as President Barack Obama visits Portland, city spokeswoman Jessica Grondin announced Wednesday.
Obama will speak at a campaign rally for U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate, scheduled to begin at 6:40 p.m. at the Portland Expo at 239 Park Ave.
