FALMOUTH — Residents have until the end of the month to file nomination papers to run for the Town Council and School Board.

There will be two seats up for election on each panel. The positions have three-year terms.

Papers are available from the town clerk’s office and must be returned by 5 p.m. Monday, April 30, with 25 signatures. The election will be held Tuesday, June 12.

Town Councilor William Armitage is termed out and Councilor Fred Chase is eligible to run for re-election, but has not taken out papers.

On the School Board, Andrew Kinley has taken out papers for a second term. Rachel Reed is eligible to run for another term, but has not taken out papers.

Karen Farber, Sean Mahoney and Russell Anderson have taken out papers to run for Town Council, Town Clerk Ellen Planer said. Dierdre Conroy-Vella has taken out papers to run for School Board.
