Drop us a line
The Forecaster welcomes letters to the editor as a part of the dialogue so important to a community newspaper. Letters should be no longer than 250 words; longer letters may be edited for length. Letters to the editor will also always be edited for grammar and issues of clarity, and must include the writer’s name, full address and daytime and evening telephone numbers. If a submitted letter requires editing to the extent that, in the opinion of the editor, it no longer reflects the views or style of the writer, the letter will be returned to the writer for revision, or rejected for publication.
Deadline for letters is noon Monday, and we will not publish anonymous letters or letters from the same writer more than once every four weeks. Letters are published at the discretion of the editor and as space allows.
