PORTLAND — State Rep. Jon Hinck, D-Portland, was appointed chairman of the House Utilities and Energy Committee for the 124th Legislature. Hinck also served on the committee in the previous Legislature.
Other House members from Portland who received committee assignments are Rep. Diane Russell, who will serve on the Legal and Veteran’s Affair Committee; Rep. Peter Stuckey, Health and Human Services; Rep. Joan Cohen, Business and Economic Development, and Rep. Steve Lovejoy, Education and Cultural Affairs.
