FREEPORT — The Maine Outdoor Film Festival will hold a viewing of seven films in L.L. Bean’s Discovery Park at 95 Main St. on Friday, Sept. 21.

All seven films tell stories of adventure and recreation in the outdoors, from bouldering and skateboarding to deep-sea scuba diving and kayaking.

According to its website, MOFF’s three goals are serving as an outlet for Maine filmmakers’ creativity, bringing outdoor film programming to Mainers and raising proceeds to support youth in the outdoors.

Screenings will begin 30 minutes after sunset, around 7:30 p.m. Running times range anywhere from two to 20 minutes.

The event is free, with a $3-5 suggested donation to benefit Teens to Trails, whose mission is to engage teens in the outdoors by “promoting, supporting and helping to start high school Outing Clubs.”
