CUMBERLAND — The Wicked Maine Outdoor Fest will be held at the Cumberland Fairgrounds, 197 Blanchard Road, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, June 15.

The event, which bills itself as “an experiential and educational festival,” is open to outdoor enthusiasts of all abilities and ages. Archery, ax-throwing, fly casting, geocaching, hula hooping, and rock climbing are among the many activities offered, along with live music, offerings from local craftsmen and artisans, food trucks, and a beer and wine garden.

The stars of DIY Network’s “Maine Cabin Masters” will make an appearance, along with authors Glennis Chabot and Patricia Flint, who will read from and sign copies of their book “The Mystery Chick.”

Tickets are $10, while children 12 and younger free. Proceeds benefit Girl Scouts of Maine. Onsite parking is available, and tickets can be purchased at wickedmaineoutdoorfest.com. More information is also available at facebook.com/wickedmaineoutdoorfest.
