PORTLAND — Olive M. Collins, 86, died Jan. 28 at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough.

She was born May 9, 1927, in Portland a daughter of Stanley and Mary Jurczyk Moski. She attended local schools and was a 1945 graduate of Portland High School.

Collins worked for many years as a telephone operator with the telephone company. She was to married James F. Collins. She was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband, James in 1984; and brother, William Chester Moski in 1995.

She is survived by a brother, Rudolph Moski and wife, Barbara, of Casco; and three nieces.

Visitation was held Feb. 2, at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home in Portland. Prayers recited Feb. 3, at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church, Portland. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
