PORTLAND — The Northeast Regional Planning Body will host its final Maine public forum on its Draft Northeast Ocean Plan at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at the University of Southern Maine.

The meeting to outline the plan and hear public comment will be held at USM’S Glickman Library, 314 Forest Ave.

The NRPB was established in 2010 as one of nine regional planning bodies studying the future management of the nation’s coasts and oceans, working toward “conserving, restoring, and maintaining healthy ecosystems,” according to its website. The plan can be viewed online at neoceanplanning.org.

Public comment will be accepted online until July 25.
