SOUTH PORTLAND — President Barack Obama will meet with campaign donors March 30 at the Marriott Sable Oaks in South Portland, according to U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine.

The event, which is being billed as a “reception,” will mark Obama’s first visit to Maine during his 2012 re-election campaign. Last fall, first lady Michelle Obama held a fundraiser at Portland’s Ocean Gateway cruise ship terminal.

A limited number of $100 tickets to the reception are available. Tickets are also on sale for $250, $500 and $10,000 at http://bit.ly/yZvQCe, according to a press release from Pingree’s re-election campaign.

Doors will open at 3 p.m.
