SOUTH PORTLAND — President Barack Obama’s scheduled March 30 fundraiser in South Portland has been moved from the Marriott Sable Oaks to the Hutchinson Union Gymnasium at Southern Maine Community College.
Obama’s campaign made the move to accommodate more people after exceeding the capacity at Sable Oaks, according to a press release on behalf of the campaign from former U.S. Sen. George Mitchell.
A limited number of $44 student tickets are available for high school and college students. Tickets to the event are also available for $100 (general admission), $250 and $500. Doors will open at 3 p.m.
