North Yarmouth Academy recently honored its top winter athletes.

Boys’ basketball’s most valuable player was Chase Gendron, with the Coach’s award going to Forrest Chicoine.

The junior varsity squad gave it Coach’s award to Andy Liu and named Nathaniel Sinibaldi Most Improved.

Girls’ basketball named Charlotte Esancy MVP. Hannah Carr won the Coach’s award and Lindsay Tufts was honored as Most Improved.

The boys’ hockey team gave its MVP to Josh Chapman and the Coach’s award to Colton Ackerman.

The boys’ JV team named Haize Fassett Most Improved. The Coach’s award went to Dana Nichols.

On the girls’ side, Elizabeth Coughlin was named MVP and Juju Tardif was given the Coach’s award.

The boys’ indoor track MVP was Michael McIntosh, while Jillian Bjorn-Caron won the girls’ MVP. Matt Malcom (boys) and Linnea Hull (girls) won Coach’s awards.

In the pool, the MVP was Sonia Lin. Emilie Burrill won the Coach’s award.

Nordic skiing’s MVP was Haley Cunningham, with Abbie Hinchman winning the Coach’s award.

Jillian Bjorn-Caron, Lizzie Lewis, Andy Liu, Abby McKelvy, Adela McVicar, Mitchell Rand, Bryce Tetreault and Emma Warren all qualified for the Western Maine Conference All-Academic team.

The Athletic Council awards went to Chase Gendron and Charlotte Esancy.
