North Yarmouth Academy girls’ hockey players senior Jen Machin and juniors Elizabeth Coughlin and Mary Morrison competed on the Portland Junior Pirates U-19 team at the USA Hockey national championships in Amherst, N.Y. earlier this month. Coughlin scored two goals in a regional tournament victory over a team from New Hampshire. Additionally, NYA junior Alex Barnes and sophomores Keeley Bartolini, Taylor Leech and Juju Tardif competed in the regional finals.
