North Yarmouth Academy recently held its Fall Sports Awards night to honor several top athletes.

The boys’ soccer team, which reached the semifinals, named Xander Bartone its Most Valuable Player and gave its Coach’s award to Connor Clock.

The JV squad named Cris Paradis Most Improved and gave the Coach’s award to Joe Bernhardt. 

Girls’ soccer named Isabelle See MVP, Bella McMahon Most Improved and gave its Coach’s award to Gabby Linscott.

Field hockey, which made the payoffs, named Savannah Shaw MVP, Alex Markonish Most Improved and gave its Coach’s award to Maya Davis.

Volleyball, which enjoyed its best season to date, gave Jordan Ackerman the MVP award and Zelda Clegg the Coach’s award.

The JV squad named Ellie Hilscher Most Improved and gave its Coach’s award to Sydney Billings.

The boys’ cross country team named Rick Hilscher MVP and gave its Coach’s award to Kieran Rowe.

The girls’ cross country squad named Megan Alberding MVP, Charlotte Collins Most Improved and gave Sarah Austin its Coach’s award.

Golf’s MVP was Jake Malcom. Dana Nichols won the Coach’s award.

The JV golf team gave its Coach’s award to Joshua Soucy.

Xander Bartone and Zelda Clegg won the prestigious Athletic Council awards.
