TACOMA, Wash. — Dr. Nunzio E. Parisi, formerly of Yarmouth, died Aug. 23.

On Feb. 17, 1923, he was born in Somerville, Mass., the son of Dr. Fiore and Frances D. Parisi and was raised in Yarmouth.

In 1942, he graduated from North Yarmouth Academy and married Virginia Grant in Yarmouth.

For two years he attended Bates College before serving in the Navy during World War II.

After the war, he graduated from Colby College and later received his medical degree from Still College in Des Moines, Iowa.

He practiced medicine in Chalfont, Penn., with his twin brother, Dr. Herbert Parisi and sister, Dr. Elena Bruno.

He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Virginia and his brother Herbert.

Surviving are two children, Allan Parisi and Teresa Martin; a brother, Lawrence Parisi of Yarmouth, sisters, Frances Parisi of Portland, Dr. Elana Bruno of North Wales, Penn., Antoinette Doyle of Framingham, Mass., Angelina Olenczak of Palm City, Fla., Maria Vowles of Whitinsville, Mass.; and numerous grandchildren.

A military funeral was held on Aug. 26 in Tacoma, Wash.
