SailMaine seeking coaches

SailMaine is seeking fall coaches for its high school teams. Assistant
coaches are also sought. The season begins in mid-August and ends Oct.

Falmouth football registration ongoing

Falmouth football is holding registration for the fall, 2009 season for

Yarmouth coaching openings

Yarmouth High School has coaching openings for varsity indoor track,
girls’ freshman soccer, assistant boys’ ice hockey and swimming, and
junior varsity field hockey and golf. Harrison Middle School needs
expansion boys’ and girls’ soccer and 7th and 8th grade field hockey

Seacoast United holding tryouts

Seacoast United Maine is holding tryouts for its winter/spring teams
July 26 at North Yarmouth Academy. U-9 through U-14 boys go from
9 to 11 a.m. U-15 through U-18 boys go from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Girls’
U-9 through U-14 tryout from 1 to 3 p.m. U-15 through U-18 girls go

Fitness, fun camp for kids opens in Yarmouth

Riverview Physical Therapy is introducing a new wellness camp for boys
and girls entering grades 2-6 called CampFit. An athletic trainer and
physical therapist will lead the camp in personalized fitness games and
outdoor activities. The 4-week camp starts July 20 and will be held on
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9-10:30 a.m., July 20-Aug. 14 at 50
Forest Falls Drive, Yarmouth. The cost is $125 per child, $110 for

Lacrosse clinics upcoming

Grip and Rip Lacrosse clinics, featuring instruction in a fun setting
for grades 2-5 and 6-8, will be held Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., from
July 21 through Aug. 18 at the Yarmouth Middle School fields.  The cost
