The American Museum of Natural History selected Greely High School student Lena Champlin as one of the 13 winners in the 13th Annual Young Naturalist Awards program, a nationwide science-based research contest for students in grades seven through 12, supported by Alcoa Foundation.  Presenting Champlin with the award and cash prize at a recent ceremony in New York City, are Christopher Raxworthy, associate curator at the museum, on left, and Paula Davis, on right, of the Alcoa Foundation.
