Falmouth students attend inauguration
Students from Falmouth High School spent the Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend visiting Washington, D.C. Led by the high school civics club and politics and government teacher Deborah Hjort, 44 students attended the presidential inauguration Monday and met with independent Maine Sen. Angus King at his Washington office.
Freeport graduate to tour with college choir
Abigail Roney, a 2012 graduate of Freeport High School, and first year biology major at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt., will sing with the college liturgical choir during a February tour in New Jersey. The choir will will sing at Mass in a high school and in two churches in Oradell, Bayonne, and Belmar, N.J., Feb. 1-3
