Maine Basketball Hall of Fame golf tournament upcoming

The second annual Maine Basketball Hall of Fame golf scramble will be held Monday, Aug. 10 at the Falmouth Country Club. Tee time is 8 a.m. The cost is $125 for an individual or $625 for a team. FMI, 504-6182.

Falmouth coaching openings

Freeport coaching openings

There are several coaching openings in RSU5 for the upcoming school year. At Freeport High School, vacancies include girls’ first team soccer, assistant football, boys’ first team basketball, assistant Alpine skiing and assistant indoor track. At Freeport Middle School, there are openings for a head football coach, assistant football coach, 7th grade boys’ soccer, 7th grade field hockey, boys’ basketball, girls’ basketball and cheering. NYA coaching openings
