Falmouth girls’ hoops coach inducted into Albany Hall of Fame
Falmouth girls’ basketball coach Mari Warner will be inducted in to the University at Albany Athletics Hall of Fame next month. Warneris the school’s all-time leader in women’s basketball coaching victories, compiling a 299-213 record in her 20-year career. One of the nation’s youngest head coaches when she was appointed to the position in 1982, UAlbany posted winning records in 12 of 13 seasons as a Division III program under her direction and reached the NCAA tournament twice. In Division II, Warner’s best team was the 1996-97 squad that finished 19-9 overall and advanced to the New England Collegiate Conference championship.

North Yarmouth Academy has several coaching vacancies for the upcoming school year. At the Upper School, there are openings for junior varsity boys’ basketball, JV boys’ prep hockey and JV girls’ prep hockey. Maine Basketball Hall of Fame induction upcoming
