Falmouth coaching openings

The Falmouth School Department has several coaching openings for the
2009-2010 school year. At the middle school, a boys’ and a girls’
soccer coach are needed. At the high school, a
varsity girls’ hockey, varsity Nordic ski and varsity baseball, along
with a varsity girls’ hockey assistant and a varsity Nordic ski

Yarmouth coaching openings

Yarmouth High School has coaching openings for varsity indoor track,
girls’ freshman soccer, assistant boys’ ice hockey and swimming, and
junior varsity field hockey and golf. Harrison Middle School needs
expansion boys’ and girls’ soccer and 7th and 8th grade field hockey

North Yarmouth Academy is seeking an upper school Nordic ski coach and
a middle school boys’ and girls’ basketball, as well as a middle school

Southern Maine Premier soccer tryouts this weekend

Tryouts for the Southern Maine Premier U-18 boys’ soccer team will be held Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (rain or shine) at the West Cumberland Field on Blackstrap Road. basketball and dodgeball leagues in Portland. A Monday night soccer
league begins Aug. 31. Sunday 11 v. 11 soccer begins Sept. 13. Sunday
flag football starts Sept. 13. A Sunday Frostbite softball league
begins Sept. 13. Tuesday evening basketball starts Sept. 15. Thursday
night basketball begins Sept. 17. Tuesday dodgeball starts Sept. 22.

Elite youth lacrosse league starting up

Maine Elite Lacrosse is offering a 4v4 league for 7th and 8th grade
boys on Sundays from 5 to 6 p.m., Sept. 6 through Oct. 25 at Deering
High. This league allows more skilled players to go head-to-head in a
