Former New England Patriots coming to Portland for flag football game
Former New England Patriots standouts Ronnie Lippett and Roland James will compete with the New England Patriots Alumni Flag Football team and take part in a game against the Cumberland County Sheriff’s P.A.L. and ECMG Saturday at 7 p.m. at Deering High’s Memorial Stadium. Proceeds from the game will benefit various youth athletic programs supported by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s P.A.L. A donation of $10 is suggested. FMI, alex@ecmgevents.com.
Sailing regatta/fundraiser upcoming
SailMaine is hosting its second annual Leafer’s Last Leg regatta/SailMaine Soiree silent auction fundraiser Saturday. Dozens of local high school sailors and seasoned sailing veterans will square off on courses outside Portland Harbor.
