Freeport coaching openings

RSU No. 5 has several coaching openings for the upcoming school year. Freeport High School is seeking a girls’ varsity basketball coach, a girls’ JV soccer coach, an assistant varsity football coach and an assistant Nordic ski coach. Durham Middle School needs boys’ and girls’ cross country coaches, as well as a girls’ ‘B’ basketball coach. At Freeport Middle School, there are openings for boys’ basketball, 7th grade boys’ soccer, girls’ lacrosse and field hockey and 8th grade baseball and boys’ and girls’ lacrosse. FMI, 865-4706.

New Casco Bay Sports upcoming

Casco Bay Sports is offering a Wednesday night Twilight Flag Football league, beginning June 23, a Monday night soccer league, starting June 28, and a Tuesday night summer dodgeball league, beginning June 29. FMI, cascobaysports.com.

Yarmouth football holding camp

Yarmouth High varsity football coach Jim Hartman and his staff will host a 1st-and-Ten Football camp next month, teaching the fundamentals of the sport, as well as offensive and defensive schemes. Maine Premier Lacrosse summer registration open

Morning hockey club seeks members

Cougar Field Hockey Camp upcoming

The Cougar Field Hockey Camp, featuring current college coaches and players, will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., June 28 through July 1, at Fitzpatrick Stadium. All ages and all skill levels are welcome. The cost is $200 a player, or $100 a player for a team of 10. FMI, fieldhockeyme.com.

Mainley Stars field hockey camp next month

The Mainley Stars field hockey camp, taught by the Greely High coaching staff and some players, will teach all skill levels, July 12 through 15. Times are 9 a.m. to 12 p.m for younger players and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for older athletes. The camp is held at the Greely high school field hockey field. The morning session is $90, full day is $180. Cross country camp upcoming
