More all-stars named

In addition to all-stars mentioned in last week’s edition, additional field hockey and soccer awards have been handed out. The field hockey all-state team included Falmouth’s Kelsey Freedman, Greely’s Jackie Andrews and CeCi Hodgkins and North Yarmouth Academy’s Katherine Millett. The all-state boys’ soccer team featured Falmouth’s Nick Bachman, Michael Bloom and Sam White, Greely’s Jonathan Coyne and Yarmouth’s Chris Knaub, Luke Pierce and Sam Torres. Pierce was also named all-New England and the boys’ Class B Player of the Year. The girls’ all-state team included Greely’s Kelly Burrell and Yarmouth’s Devin Simsarian.
