Lacrosse officiating classes offered

The Maine Women’s Lacrosse Officials’ Association is offering new umpire classes for adults. Classes will be held at Thornton Academy and Brunswick High School on Monday nights through March 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. and at Falmouth High School on Thursday nights through March 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. New officials must attend a minimum of three classes to qualify for the 2015 season. All newly trained umpires will receive instructions on how to register with U.S. Lacrosse. The cost for the course is $45 and is non-refundable. FMI, 721-0708 or mainewloa.com.

Seacoast Dragons signups underway

Registration for the Seacoast Dragons boys’ (ages 7 to 13) spring soccer team is being accepted through Tuesday. There are no geographic restrictions for Spring Pine Tree League, any boy from any town may play on the Dragons. Training starts at the Topsham Dome March 20 from 5 to 6 p.m. Games begin April 26 and run through June 21. FMI, 358-7852 or seacoastunitedmaine.org.
