Freeport spring info night upcoming

Freeport High School’s Spring Information Night will be held March 15 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the gymnasium. Parents and student athletes are expected and encouraged to attend. It’s a great opportunity to meet the coaching staff and hear directly from them regarding their philosophy, goals and team expectations. Athletic trainer, Jenna Strunjo, will also be on hand to explain our IMPACT concussion program. First practice for baseball and softball pitchers and catchers is March 19. Maine Premier Lacrosse offerings

Girls’ lacrosse programs are now open for middle and high schoolers. There will also be Learn 2 Lax programs Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Full field high school action is also underway. FMI, mainepremierlax.com.

Used lacrosse equipment sale

The Riverside Athletic Center, 1173 Riverside St., in Portland, is holding a used lacrosse equipment sale Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The admission cost is $2. FMI, 841-2453.
