NYA hosting Wounded Warrior Project fundraiser
Saturday’s regular season-opening Yarmouth at North Yarmouth Academy boys’ lacrosse showdown will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. Game time is 1 p.m. Donations are encouraged. A military color guard and speakers from active duty and retired military will be part of the program. Players will wear special jerseys. Freeport hosting Coaches vs. Cancer game
The Freeport boys’ lacrosse team will host Waynflete in a fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society Saturday, May 4, at 3:30 p.m. FMI, 841-2734 or martinrjacob@gmail.com.
