PORTLAND — The city is now accepting nominations for its annual Economic Development Awards.
In an Aug. 16 press release, city spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said nominations will be accepted until 3 p.m. Sept. 11 for Economic Development Achievement, Business of the Year and Small Business of the Year.
The city and the Portland Development Corporation sponsor the annual awards, with nominations reviewed by the PDC, Grondin said. The award presentations will be made at an event at Ocean Gateway Terminal in mid-November.
Nominations can be made by organizations, business and the public. Nomination forms and criteria for consideration are online at https://bit.ly/2ORNu3D.
