Arrests

There were no arrests reported from Jan. 25-31.

Summonses

1/27 at 5:20 p.m. Courtney Babyak, 31, of Scarborough, was issued a summons by Officer Aaron Webster On Route 77 on a charge of possession of marijuana.

1/26 at 2:30 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was issued a summons by Officer Rory Diffin on Ocean House Road on a charge of possession of tobacco.

Visit, but lock up

1/26 Police met with a resident of Portland who claimed their vehicle was broken into on Spurwink Avenue. Police said missing items include a purse containing credit cards, a drivers license, several USB thumbdrives and a few dollars.

Where is your snow blower?

1/26 A resident of the Wells Road area contacted police to report their Toro Power Max snow blower missing from their yard. The resident reported the snow blower is worth about $800. According to police, this is the third snow blower allegedly stolen this winter. Police encourage residents to record serial numbers so items can be traced.
