Roger H. Bolduc, 78
CUMBERLAND CENTER — Roger H. Bolduc, 78, died suddenly Feb. 24 in Leesburg, Fla.
On Aug. 29, 1931, he was born in Cumberland Center, a son of Eddie and Marie Bolduc.
He attended Cumberland schools and lived his entire life in Cumberland until 1998 when he began spending winters at The Plantation with his wife Donna.
After serving in the Korean War, he began his 50-year career as an operating engineer for Local 4. He also owned a local gas station, the general store in North Pownal and barbered with his father-in-law in Yarmouth for many years.
He was predeceased by his brothers Gerard and Edward.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Donna Reinsborough Bolduc; his two daughters, Kimberly Arsenault, and Kelly Sullivan and her husband David; four grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Rawrie,” Michelle and Lindsey Arsenault, and Kelsey and Connor Sullivan, all of North Yarmouth; his sister Margaret Leighton and her husband Robert and his brother, Philip Bolduc and wife Rhonda of Falmouth; his sisters-in-law, Sylvia Bolduc and Fay Bolduc, both of Cumberland; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 326 Main St., Yarmouth.
