Marilyn L. Alger, 69
BRUNSWICK — Marilyn L. Alger, 69, died Jan. 13, peacefully in her home.
Alger was born in Johnson City, N.Y., on Aug. 5, 1944, the daughter of Raymond and Laura Cook Crumm.
She attended Binghamton, N.Y., schools and was a 1963 graduate of Binghamton Central High School. Alger received a degree in interior design from Broome Community College in 1991.
On July 3, 1983, she married Kenneth R. Alger.
She was a well-known hair dresser in the Binghamton area for years, working at Tony’s Tommy’s and JC Penney, and owning her own salon, Essential Hair Design.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth R. Alger; son, Kurt Alger, of Brunswick; and brothers, Alan and David Crumm.
At her request there will be no services at this time
