Local karate students excel

Sensei Cameron Sarchi of Tracy’s Karate in Yarmouth, was tested and promoted to his first degree black belt after a recent tournament in Bucksport. Also promoted to first degree black belt was Sensei Margo White, who is also a member of the Yarmouth dojo. Other local students who participated in that tournament are also pictured above.  Approximately 150 competitors from all over Maine and Canada vied for trophies and medallions.  These children and adults train with Sensei Kristy Tracy Dawes of Yarmouth. These students received trophies in both kumite and ju-jitsu throwing divisions.
