The Maine Firecrackers girls' basketball team won the recent AAU U-12 state title, 55-37, over the Bombettes in Saco. Allie Clement had 19 points and Olivia Smith added 15. The win sent the team to the New England Super Regional in Derry, N.H., where it reached the final before losing to a team from New York.
