BRUNSWICK — Democratic candidate Matthea Daughtry has won the state House District 66 race over Green Independent candidate Fred Horch and Republican candidate Grant Connors.

Unofficial results from the Town Clerk show that Daughtry won with 2,108 votes, Horch in second with 1,504, and Connors in third with approximately 1,009.

The House District 66 is being vacated by Rep. Alex Cornell du Houx, D-Brunswick, at the end of the year.
