North Star Music Cafe celebrates two years

North Star Music Cafe is celebrating its second anniversary with a weekend full of events starting April 3. The weekend kicks off with a party at 7 p.m. Friday with musical performances, poetry and more. Ramblin' Red, pictured above, will play a short set, along with Vanessa Torres, Putnam Smith, Ye!, Goldie Peacock and Murray's Rule. There is a $5 cover for the event. The cafe is located at 225 Congress St. in Portland.
