SOUTH PORTLAND — The Redbank Village neighborhood will hold a block party Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the new Redbank Community Park to celebrate “America’s Night Out Against Crime.”
In partnership with Target, the South Portland Police Department, the South Portland Fire Department, and the city Department of Parks, Recreation and Public Works, the neighborhood will serve up free barbecue and activities for kids, including face painting, fingerprinting, a K-9 demonstration, a cops-versus-kids basketball game, and the Maine Rock Gym’s portable climbing wall.
The park is at 26 MacArthur Circle.
