South Portland city employees Ed Madsen and Rick Perruzzi put the finishing touches on the start line July 30 on Route 77 near Crescent Beach for Saturday’s 19th running of the TD Beach to Beacon 10K in Cape Elizabeth. This year’s race beneficiary, which receives a $30,000 donation from the TD Charitable Foundation, is My Place Teen Center, a free, year-round, after-school youth development program.
