Edgar Greenlaw Bradley, 75
WOOLWICH — Edgar Greenlaw Bradley, 75, died Feb. 23.
He was born Oct. 11, 1937, to Meliville Greenlaw Bradley and Flora Hunnewell, and raised in Woolwich and Boothbay Harbor.
Bradley lived a colorful life. He was a master mechanic with a passion for Ford and Harley-Davidson products. He earned a pilot's license in 1997 and owned a single-propeller Cessna aircraft. He also represented local beverage company Hosmer Mountain Soda in several radio advertisements.
An animal lover, Bradley cared for many cats over his lifetime. He gave them unusual names and enjoyed recounting stories about their activities.
He is predeceased by his brother John Bradley, of Boothbay Harbor, and sister Gertrude Baker, of Woolwich. He is survived by a son, Kenneth Greenlaw Bradley, of Boothbay Harbor, and two sisters, Victoria Schumacher, of Falmouth, and Sadie Dow, of Portland.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to to Cats Northeast, in Mansfield Center, Conn., or to the Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Murphy's Corner Cemetery in Woolwich.
