Topsham Police Beat: Aug. 22
8/16 at 4:23 p.m. Bradley Merrill, 28, of Spruce Lane, was arrested by Officer Mark McDonald on Townsend Way on a charge of operating under the influence.
8/15 at 6:22 p.m. Adam Poulin, 20, of Main Street, South Paris, was issued a summons by Sgt. Mark Gilliam on Tedford Road on a charge of operating with a suspended or revoked license.
8/17 at 1:55 a.m. Nicole Snipe, 42, of Katie Lane, was issued a summons by Sgt. Robert Ramsay on Lovers Lane on a charge of failure to report an accident.
8/17 at 10:34 p.m. John Moody, 34, of Clark Street, Lisbon, was issued a summons by Sgt. Robert Ramsay on Lewiston Road on charges of operating an unregistered motor vehicle more than 150 days and false identification of registration plates.

8/16 at 10:30 p.m. Police received the first of multiple calls about fireworks being set off in the area of Bridge Street. Officer Randy Cook and Sgt. Robert Ramsay responded but could not locate any perpetrators.
