Topsham Police Beat: June 6
5/29 at 6:20 p.m. Matthew Pepin, 26, of Pownal, was arrested by Officer Mark McDonald on Topsham Fair Mall Road on a charge of theft.
5/31 at 6:44 p.m. George Elwell, 67, of Barrows Drive, was arrested by Sgt. Robert Ramsay on Barrows Drive on charges of terrorizing and aggravated assault.
5/30 at 1:13 a.m. Christopher Menchaca, 20, of Munroe Lane, was issued a summons by Officer Mark McDonald on Forest Drive on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
5/27 at 1 a.m. Officer Gabrielle Mathieu responded to the report of mailboxes being damaged between 495 and 700 Foreside Road. Three males were seen running from the area but could not be located. The incident echoes other recent reports of mailbox damage in the area.
